SCET RESEARCH & DESIGN CELL (SRDC)
With a rich human resource in the field of architecture, planning, urban design, landscape and other design fields the FoA, SCET has set up a consultancy Cell in 2001 for providing services in the field of Design.
SRDC – SCET Research & Design Cell has been established at SCET. It is a group of architects who are presently serving at the institute as faculty members and who have a wide experience and exposure in their respective disciplines. The team has an experience of handling variety of architectural projects ranging from proposals for urban development schemes to single residential proposals, from commercial projects to research based proposals, from urban design to interior design schemes. Since its inception in 2001, the cell boasts of a variety of institutional and corporate projects all of high esteem. At present the Cell is involved in the development of various projects related to Tourism and Master Plan development for the Government of Gujarat and Local Authorities. RESEARCH
The faculty members of the institute have experience of working on research studies of wide variety of subjects and they have presented their research works in seminars and conferences at national and international level.
The wide ranging research work has created substantial academic materials for the institute with multi-sectoral approaches. The subject of research works of the faculty members ranges from urban studies, conservation, architectural criticism, climatic studies to furniture design and structural design.
